Few things make us happier than stuffing the diaper bags we provide to low income parents in Northern Michigan.  Hand-knit items, baby books, safe sleep sacks, bath towels and onesies – what a joy to know they will soon be in the hands of a mom or dad who might not otherwise have anything for their infant. This year, we provided 350 pink and blue layettes, and that was just ONE of our projects!

It’s all possible because of YOU, and you are our hero. 

Just recently, we received a call from a family whose electricity was about to be shut off.  These were hard-working, employed parents who had to miss work because one of their children was in the hospital.  When low-income families miss work and don’t get paid, they are just one paycheck from disaster.  The Christ Child Society of Northern Michigan was able to restore their utilities. 

We couldn’t have done this without you. 

Every summer we raise the money that makes all the magic happen, and we cordially invite you to attend our annual fundraiser to be held on Sunday, July 29, 2018, 6:00 p.m. at the beautiful Lange Center at Bay Harbor Yacht Club.  The event will include a lovely dinner, open bar, live music, live and silent auctions, all in a spectacular setting. We would love for you to attend and our members are working hard to make sure you have a wonderful time. 

In Northern Michigan, visitors may see a luxurious lifestyle of golf courses and ski resorts, but just below the surface, one in four children lives in poverty.  As a Christ Child supporter, you know that children thrive when they receive a warm winter coat, a cozy hand-made blanket, new school shoes, books, nutritious food to take home for the weekend, a backpack stuffed with school supplies, or a new Christmas toy. 

With your help, we provide this and so much more, to deserving children. Of course we would love for you to attend our party, but if you can’t make it this year, may we still count on your support?  You can contribute by becoming a sponsor, purchasing tickets, or making a donation, in any amount.  On this website you will find details of the event, and how you can help make a difference in the lives of children who need so much help.
