About Us

Our chapter was founded 40 years ago by a small group of women dedicated to serving children in need.  Today we have grown our volunteer membership to 150 and we continue to strive to meet the ever growing needs of our community. 

Our Vision is to serve impoverished children, or those with special needs in Northern Michigan.

Our Mission is to serve the needs of infants and children in Northern Michigan, without prejudice, through the personal service of its membership, in the love and spirit of the Christ Child.  Our ecumenical chapter membership is made up of compassionate and actively engaged volunteers assisting children requiring clothing, food, education support, as well as those families needing short-term financial aid for their child.  Funding for our mission is derived from chapter fund-raising activities, grants, and generous donors.
